Finally, back in the field for some bird photography. Fellow photographer John Hansen and my self went looking for shorebirds.
We were surprised as to the number of Black-necked Stilts we saw and photographed. In photo 1 a Stilt in flight. Sandpipers and Willets were also plentiful and made great photographic subjects.
The two buterfly photographs (Lycaena hyllus - Bronze Copper) are from the same butterfly. Thanks to Bob Parsons for the ID.
